Wonderful relaxing family-friendly experience with very obliging staff

Wonderful friendly staff who were very obliging The chef was very happy to cater to the kids requests for special meals which were charged very reasonably too The kids loved the pool and ‘mini water slide’

I understand that the hotel has just reopened but would like to make some suggestions some of which i know are being attended to 1. TV for the room - at least get a few fixed 2. A lift will be required for the less able older generation 3. Few extra amenities- a couple of more teabags and creamers and a tissue box and when it is offered as a triple room - three cups 4. Less restrictions on wading (i understand bathing there maybe dangerous) in the sea

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Peacock Beach Resort in Hambantota on the 18th and 19th of October, and I must say, it was an experience that left me truly delighted. From the moment I arrived until my departure, this enchanting beachfront haven exceeded all my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the warm and gracious welcome I received from the staff. The friendly smiles and exceptional service made me feel right at home, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality that persisted throughout my stay. The check-in process was swift, and the staff made sure I was well-informed about all the resort's amenities and services. The room I stayed in was a haven of comfort and luxury. The cozy bed, immaculate linens, and tasteful decor provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The view from my room was breathtaking – the serene Indian Ocean stretched out before me, and the soothing sound of the waves became my lullaby each night. One of the highlights of my stay was the delectable culinary experience. The resort's restaurant offered a wide array of mouthwatering dishes, blending local and international flavors. The seafood was particularly outstanding, and I relished every meal as a culinary adventure. The dining staff was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. The resort's pristine beach was the ideal spot for unwinding. I spent hours basking in the sun, taking long walks along the shore, and even tried my hand at some water sports that the resort offered. It was an experience of pure bliss and tranquility. The resort's facilities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the spa, where I indulged in a rejuvenating massage that left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The pool area was equally inviting and well-maintained. Definitely coming back again!!!

A wonderful place to stay!

This is the place that seeks luxury, comfort, and convenience in one place. I had an amazing experience during my stay there. The service and facilities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The resort offers a wide range of amenities, including a stunning infinity pool and a cozy bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and equipped with AC, cable TV, hot and cold water, and excellent room service. What I loved most was the private balcony with a direct sea view. It was simply breathtaking! All of this luxury comes at an incredibly reasonable price. The easy access to famous sights made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Peacock Beach Resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. The combination of excellent service, comfortable amenities, and a beautiful location make it an outstanding choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you Peacock Hotel and staff for the amazing time with stay at your place!

Amazing Hotel with Best Food

Great Hotel. Best Food in Hambanthota Area. Comfortable Beds. Clean Rooms. Beach front hotel with ocean view Room. Friendly staff. Food was beyond expectations. They have mouth watering dishes.

One of the highlights of the hotel was its friendly staff. They were always warm and welcoming, going out of their way to assist guests. The manager, a young and enthusiastic person, was particularly attentive and ensured that guests felt valued during their stay. The property boasted a large garden, but it was in dire need of serious landscaping work. With some attention and care, the garden could be transformed into a beautiful and inviting space. Despite this, the staff remained friendly and helpful, and their positive attitudes compensated for the property's shortcomings. On the positive side, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. The towels, linen, and other essentials were consistently fresh and well-maintained. This attention to cleanliness enhanced the overall experience of the stay. The hotel offered two pools on its premises. The large outdoor pool was superb, providing an excellent space for relaxation and leisure.

It was evident that the hotel operated with a minimum staff, which sometimes resulted in delays in service. However, there were a few disappointing aspects of the hotel. Firstly, the water pressure in the bathrooms was consistently low. Additionally, the lack of amenities such as a television and a fridge in the rooms was a let-down. The absence of these basic facilities hindered the overall comfort of the stay. Furthermore, the lockers in the rooms were not functional. However, the infinity pool located by the oceanfront was disappointing. It appeared to be neglected, as it was filled with suspended dirt and hair, giving the impression that it had not been cleaned in a long time. Renovating and maintaining the pool area would greatly enhance the hotel's appeal. In terms of dining, only one restaurant was operational during my stay. Unfortunately, the service was slow, likely due to being understaffed. The food served was average, and the buffet was not ready at the designated time. One particular dessert, the curd, was extremely sour, leaving me perplexed as to why fresh curd couldn't be sourced, especially in a location like Hambantota.
